How Much Does It Cost?

The ad pricing is per pixel. Each square you see on the graph in the Pixel Column is 10 pixels by 10 pixels (100 pixels). Ads should be purchased in 10x10 blocks.

The price for each pixel depends upon how high on the page the pixels are. The closer to the top of the PixelPanel a pixel is, the more expensive it is.

To find the cost of a pixel, move your mouse over it and hover for a moment, and the cost will pop up in a box next to your mouse pointer.

What Ads are Accepted?

All ads are subject to approval for suitability and appropriateness to FundamentalTop500.com. Ads do not necessarily have to be for Fundamental Baptist web sites, but they must be of interest to Fundamental Baptists. Thus an ad for cell phone services would be appropriate, while and ad for the TNIV would not.

Ads must be rectangular in shape.

How Do I Place An Ad?

Send your ad image to support@fundamentaltop500.com.

In your e-mail, tell us where you would like the ad to be placed. You can tell us something like "2 squares down and 5 squares across", or you can be more precise and specify the pixel coordinates.

Also in your e-mail, tell us the web address to which we should link your ad.

We will post your ad and send you an electronic invoice which you can pay by credit card or PayPal. Upon request, we'll e-mail you an invoice which you can print out for mailing with a check.

What makes the PixelPanel so different from traditional pixel advertising?

A traditional pixel page uses the entire page for ads. There is no content to speak of. When the concept was new a couple years ago, these pages drew some attention from bloggers and media (and thus traffic). However, today there is a preponderance of pixel pages on the internet, and anyone can start one by downloading a free script. The FundamentalTop500.com PixelPanel is different in that the pixel ads are on a web page with real content and regular traffic. FundamentalTop500.com has been around for years and is here to stay, as far as we're concerned. Ads on the PixelPanel will be seen day after day, year after year, long after the pixel page fad has been religated to the dust bin of Internet history.

How do I figure the cost of an ad?

There are two ways. The first way is to e-mail the ad graphic to us, telling us where in the column you would like to place it, and we'll give you a no-obligation quote. The second way is to do it yourself by multiplying the width of your image (in pixels) by its height to get the total number of pixels. Multiply this total number of pixels by the price-per-pixel of the area on the Pixel Panel where you would like the image to be placed.

Can I have FundamentalTop500.com make my ad?

Sure. Tell us the height and width you prefer, and we'll create an ad for your approval. The cost for this service is just $10.

Can I change my ad once it is on-line?

We can change ad graphics for you anytime after it is placed in the PixelPanel for a $25 fee. The revised image should be the same size as the original.

When should I buy my ad? Should I wait?

You should purchase your advertising as soon as you are fully convinced that it is right for you. Benefits of buying early include:

• Ads placed before the PixelPanel starts filling up will get extra attention from site visitors because there is less competition.
• Ads placed earlier, while the PixelPanel is still a novelty, will get extra attention from site visitors.
• Since we are guaranteeing to keep the PixelPanel on-line at least until March 1, 2012, earlier ads will get more exposure because they will be on the site longer than ads placed later.

So, what if something happens and FundamentalTop500.com goes away?
